Try our Asian-Style Dipping sauce the next time you want to jazz up basic soy sauce.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup sugar
- ⅓ cup white vinegar
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp corn starch
- 2/3 Cup water
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
2 Steps to complete
- 1In a small saucepan; combine sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and ketchup. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- 2Dissolve corn starch into the water. Add to the soy sauce mixture. Let simmer until a thick consistency is reached, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add the red pepper flakes. Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
