1In a small saucepan; combine sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and ketchup. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

2Dissolve corn starch into the water. Add to the soy sauce mixture. Let simmer until a thick consistency is reached, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add the red pepper flakes. Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
